Executive Management Changes in February 2018
As part of our company research process, we constantly find new executive management changes, appointments, departures, retirements and firings. Thought we'd share them with you.
We're only half way through February and here are some of our findings:
- GE's Chief Communications Officer Deirdre Latour is leaving the company. Linda Boff, GE's chief marketing officer, will take on the added responsibilities as interim head of communications, until a replacement is found.
- Chipotle taps Brian Niccol as new CEO
- Heineken USA names Jonnie Cahill new chief marketing officer
- Golden Gate Sotheby's International Realty Appoints Kevin Daniel Dwyer to the position of Chief Marketing Officer.
- WWE Has Promoted CMO and CRO Michelle Wilson to Co-President With George Barrios
- York Risk Services Group announced that Maria Conry has been appointed Chief Marketing Officer.
- Aunt Fannie’s announced the appointment of Meghan Hastie as Chief Marketing Officer.
- Lululemon’s Chief Executive Resigns Over Behavior
- Helena Foulkes was named the chief executive of Hudson’s Bay. She is the latest executive to try to transform the struggling Saks Fifth Avenue and Lord & Taylor stores.
- Arbutus Biopharma announced that Bruce Cousins, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, is leaving the company. Koert VandenEnden, Arbutus’ Vice President of Finance, will serve as Interim Chief Financial Officer.
- Imelda Hurley is stepping down as the CFO at Origin Enterprises plc. They have initiated a search process for a new chief financial officer (CFO).
- Adventist Health Announces Retirement of CFO Jack Wagner. Joe Reppert, a recent internal hire will succeed Mr. Wagner as CFO.
- Famous Dave's (NASDAQ: DAVE) has named Paul Malazita, its director of accounting and corporate controller, as its interim CFO.
- KMG announce that Monte Green, Director of Corporate Development, will assume the additional role of CFO on an interim basis. Marcelino Rodriguez, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, is resigning in the next few weeks.
- Murphy Oil Corporation (NYSE: MUR) announced today that John W. Eckart, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, has informed the company of his intention to retire in 2018. Murphy is actively looking to identify Mr. Eckart’s successor.
- Axovant Sciences (NASDAQ:AXON) announced that Chief Executive Officer David Hung, M.D., has resigned. President and Chief Operating Officer Marion McCourt has also resigned. Directors Kate Falberg, Tony Vernon, and Patrick Machado have also resigned as members of the Company’s board of directors.
- Fortinet Appoints Keith Jensen to Interim Chief Financial Officer
- Michael Ciskowski, Valero Energy’s CFO, to retire after more than 30 years. He will be replaced by Donna Titzman, who is currently a senior vice president and treasurer.
- FormFactor, Inc. (Nasdaq:FORM) announced that its Chief Financial Officer, Michael Ludwig, is retiring. FormFactor is actively looking for a replacement.
- Canada Goose Holdings Inc. (NYSE: GOOS) announced that Jonathan Sinclair will succeed John Black as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President.
- Acuity Healthcare promoted Joanne Two to VP of Hospital Finance.
- Cardiovascular Systems (NASDAQ: CSII) announced that Jeff Points was named Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
- Allergan has announced the appointment of Matthew Walsh as its new executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO).
- Virtual Instruments Appoints Peter Dayton as Chief Financial OfficerNew CFO.
- Blackboard Inc. Names Rick Essex Chief Financial Officer.
- Micron Technology (NASDAQ:MU) announced that David Zinsner has been appointed senior vice president and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), reporting to Micron president and CEO, Sanjay Mehrotra.
- Tableau's Chief Financial Officer Tom Walker is permanently stepping down to go on sabbatical, Senior Vice President of Finance Damon Fletcher will takeover as interim chief financial officer.
- Nordea has promoted Christopher Rees, head of its markets business, to become chief financial officer.
- Doron Grosman, President and CEO of GCT Global Container Terminals announced the appointment of Cheryl Yaremko as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
- Zen Technologies Ltd appoints Mr N Ramesh Kumar as CFO.
- Sonic Corp. announced the promotions of Claudia S. San Pedro to president and Corey R. Horsch to CFO.
- Airbnb Inc. Chief Financial Officer Laurence Tosi is leaving.
- Altria CEO Marty Barrington is stepping down. Chief Operating Officer Howard Willard is succeeding him. Billy Gifford will serve as Altria's vice chairman and CFO effective May 18, 2018.
- LendingPoint Names Antonio Martino as New Chief Financial Officer.
- Allscripts (MDRX) Names Dennis Olis as CFO.
- Washington Trust Bancorp, Inc., (NASDAQ: WASH) announced that Ronald S. Ohsberg has assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer.
- Fred's Inc. (NASDAQ:FRED) announced the appointment of Joseph Anto as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately. Mr. Anto succeeds Jason Jenne, who is leaving the Company
- Sony Corp. named Chief Financial Officer Kenichiro Yoshida as its new president and CEO. He is replacing Kazuo Hirai, who will stay on as chairman.
- UniBank announce the appointment of Simon Bai as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
- Citrix Announces Drew Del Matto as New Chief Financial Officer
- Slack appoints Allen Shim to the newly created position of chief financial officer
- David C. Moore, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Universal Corporation (NYSE: UVV) has announced his plans to retire effective August 31, 2018. The Board of Directors has named Johan C. Kroner, currently Senior Vice President, to succeed him.
- Airgain, Inc. (NASDAQ: AIRG) announced the appointment of Anil Doradla as Chief Financial Officer.
- Endologix Appoints Greg Morrow as Chief Marketing Officer
- Astreya announced the appointment of Tom Miller as Chief Marketing Officer
- Korn Ferry just added Jill Wiltfong as its new chief marketing officer
- Phivida appointed Mr. Michael Cornwell to the senior executive team as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)
- Mark Weiner was hired as the chief marketing officer at security startup Balbix.
- Rob Mustarde was hired into the role of senior vice president of worldwide sales at Versa.
- Brad Anderson was hired by NetApp as senior vice president and general manager of its cloud infrastructure business. He will report to NetApp CEO George Kurian.
- Claudio Perugini was hired as Aryaka senior vice president of global channels.
- Greg Orr joined Aryaka as the vice president of sales for its Americas business.
- Intel promoted four of its corporate officers. Leslie Culbertson became the executive vice president and GM of its product assurance and security group; Ann Kelleher was named the senior vice president of the technology and manufacturing group; Michael Mayberry is now the senior vice president and chief technology officer; and Matthew Smith became senior vice president and chief human resources officer.
- Renée James became the CEO of a new chip venture, Ampere Computing
- Eric Johnson was hired as Talend's CIO.
- Steve Wood was promoted to chief product officer at Dell Boomi.
- Aaron Bean joined Nutanix as its chief human resources officer.
- Manav Mishra was named vice president of product management at Teridion
- Glenn Laxdal was hired as Infinera's senior vice president of product management
- Alexander Derecho was hired as Infinera's senior vice president of global customer service.
- Amy O’Connor was promoted to chief data and information officer at Cloudera.
- Leonard Donnelly joined Netronome as its senior vice president of corporate and business development.
- Jack Kudale was named the chief operating officer of Cavirin
- Johan Arpe was named chief financial officer at DigitalRoute
- F5 named four new members to its executive team. Kara Sprague joined as the senior vice president and GM of application delivery controller; Ram Krishnan became the senior vice president and GM of security; Tom Fountain was named executive vice president and chief strategy officer; and Ana White joined F5 as its executive vice president and chief human resources officer.
- Synchronoss appointed Mary Clark as chief marketing officer and executive vice president of product.
- Coriant named Vikram Shanbhag as managing director for the company’s Asia Pacific South region.
- Accedian promoted Sergio Bea to vice president of global enterprise and channels
- Richard Piasentin was named chief marketing officer and chief strategy officer at Accedian
- Kevin Coppins joined Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise as its vice president of sales for North America.
- Ribbon Communications appointed Tony Scarfo as its executive vice president of products and research and development.
- CA Technologies named Ava Hahn as executive vice president and general counsel.
- Safe-T named John Parmley as its U.S. CEO.
- CloudHealth hired Greg Nicastro as its chief product officer
- 8×8 named Ali Arsanjani as its vice president of artificial intelligence and machine learning
- Atos chairman and CEO Thierry Breton presented a number of changes to his executive team at the group’s annual general management meeting. Robert Vassoyan has joined as Senior Executive Vice-President. Patrick Adiba moves to the position of SEVP and CEO of Atos’ North America operations. Michel-Alain Proch has been appointed Group Chief Digital Officer. Ursula Morgenstern has been named CEO of Atos Germany. Sean Narayanan has been named Executive Vice President (EVP) and head of Business & Platform Solutions (B&PS). Giuseppe di Franco moves into the EVP, CEO Central & Eastern Europe position. Hanns-Thomas Kopf will take other responsibilities in the Central & Eastern Europe group. Eric Grall has been promoted to Senior Executive Vice-President (SEVP). Elie Girard, Group CFO will manage the business along side Eric Grall.
