U.S. Department of Transportation Investing $165 Million in IoT Smart City Solutions

The U.S. Department of Transportation recently announced a $165 million investment in smart-city solutions, according to a recent press release.

This total includes $65 million in public funding and $100 million in matching funds geared toward advanced transportation technologies. The investment was announced at the White House Frontiers conference and is part of the White House’s Smart Cities Initiative.
